Nigeria has a GDP per capita of $5860 dollars. Meaning that, on average, a Nigerian makes the previously mentioned amount of money in a year. Regarding their Human Development Index (HDI), which measures a citizen's access to basic services that include health, education and appropriate nourishment, it ranks 0.532. The closer this indicator gets to 1 the better. The average Nigerian has 10 years of schooling.

Haiti has a GDP per capita of $1780 dollars, a Human Development Index of 0.598, and the average Haitian spends 9.3 years in school.

This leads to the conclusion that Nigeria has better human capital than Haiti, due to the fact that Nigerians have spent more time educating themselves, they also have better access to basic services, and work in more developed industries, as a Nigerian's annual income is 3.3 times greater in comparison to a Haitian's annual income.
