so we use a squared + b squared = c squared

10.5^2+3.2^2=c^2

110.25+10.24=c^2

and then because it said to round to the nearest tenth that would be 11.0 miles.

She's going at an average speed of 3.3 mph

that means it takes her about .3 hours to do 1 mile

so it would take her 3.3 hours to go 11 miles

marty is going at an average speed of 7 mph

so she takes 0.14 hours to go 1 mile

0.14 x 25 = 2.5
