  1. There is a great amount of wealth in the big cities. Therefore, a common Brazilian is forced to come to these places in order to work and have the chance of achieving a better future. However, upon arriving at the cities, one understands that there is a great economic and cultural gap among the different groups of people that live there.
  2. Opportunities are very limited for people with low economic resources, as their lack of resources hinders them from getting a quality education and, consequently, better job opportunities.
  3. The high level of inequality in Brazil makes people in the poorer regions face challenges like the lack of access to medical services, education or even judicial services. The overall quality of these services drops considerably as you go farther from the big cities.
