the answer is x>-2 first you just move the -1 by adding 1 to both sides. Then you get 4x>-8 then you must isolate the x by dividing the 4 on both sides. After you divide it you will have just x on one side of the inequality and -2 on the other side. this will leave you with the inequality x>-2
