C. 4.5 m

Set up a ratio.
1.5/4=x/12
Cross multiply.
4x=18 so x=4.5

To find the answer, we can first find how much the hieght would be lengthened when one is casted as a shadow, by dividing the length of shadow by the height of Kris:

4÷1.5
=8/3

As the height of the object would be lengthened 8/3 times when casted as a shadow, we can then find the length of the statue by its shadow:

12÷8/3
=4.5m

Therefore the answer is C)4.5m.

Hope it helps!
