Answer:

spinning a 4 or 5

spinning a number greater than 8

Explanation:

spinning a number less than 3 3/10 false

spinning a 4 or 5 1/5 true

spinning an odd number 1/2 false

spinning a number greater than 8 1/5 true

spinning a number less than 8 4/5 false

for the two that are true, spinning a 4 or 5 is 2/10, which is equal to 1/5, and as well as spinning a number greater than 8, the two numbers are available for it is 9 and 10, then it equals 2/10, or known as 1/5

Answer:

Explanation:

Given that a spinner is numbered from 1-10.

Since all will have equal area, we find that probability of spinning one number is 1/10

Let us check one by one

i) Spinning a number less than 3, = spin in 1 or 2

=1/10+1/10 =1/5

ii) spinning a 4 or 5 has prob = 1/10+1/10=1/5

iii) Spinning an odd number =1/10*5=1/2

iv) spinning a number >8 = spin in 9 or 10

=1/10+1/10=1/5

v) spinning a number <8 = 7/10

Hence answers are

i, ii, iv
