We can first find the probability of the people having blue or red as their favorite colour:
4/7+1/3
= 4×3/7×3 + 1×7/7×3
= 12/21 + 7/21
= 19/21
We can then find the number of people who like blue and red:
1092×19/21
=988
We can then find the number who like neither blue or red by deducting the total number of people by the above answer:
1092-988
=104
There are 104 people who named neither blue or red as their favorite colour.
Hope it helps!
