When finding the slope and you have two points, you have to keep this formula in mind
m=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)).

Then fill in what you know, you can use any of the points that they gave you. I will be using (-4,-2) and (-2,-10).


m=(-10--2)/(-2--4)=(8)/(-2)=-4

When you simplify you will get the slope of the function to be -4.
