pretty certain the answer is y=3x-1 but don't quote me on it!

The equation: 3x - y - 1 = 0 is an equation of a line. To plot a line you need 2 points.

If x = 0, then:

3*0 - y - 1 = 0

-y - 1 = 0

y = -1

So, one point is (0, -1)

If y = 0, then:

3x - 0 - 1 = 0

3x - 1 = 0

x = 1/3

So, the other point is (1/3, 0)
