Answer:

(1,0)

What is a dilation?

A dilation is a change in shape that is not a rigid transformation.

An Expansion dilation is always going to be bigger than 1

A contraction dilation is always going to be smaller than 1, in a fraction form smaller than the denominator

I hope this helped :)

Answer:

B. (1, 0)

Explanation:

Look at side AC. The coordinates of point C are (2, 0).

Point A is the origin, (0, 0).

With a dilation of 1/2 about point A, all coordinates are multiplied by the dilation factor, 1/2.

The x-coordinate of point C, 2, becomes 2 × 1/2 = 1

The y-coordinate of point C, 0, becomes 2 × 0 = 0

The coordinates of point C' are (1, 0).

Answer: B. (1, 0)
