Should be: 0.67x and (1-33/100)x

Answer:

x*(2/3)=y

y*1.5=x

Explanation:

There is 2/3rds the amount of sodium in the new one, y. If you multiply the odl one, x, by 2/3, you'll have the amount in the new one. Because half of 2/3rds is 1/3, if you multiply the new one by 1.5, you'll end up with 3/3, or 1, which is the amount in the old one.
