Would a ball thrown with the speed of 20m/s off of the top of a 55 meter high building land at least 60 meters away from the building? How far away would it land?

Ignoring air resistance . . .

-- A ball starting from 55 meters off the ground takes 3.35 seconds to hit the ground.

-- If it's moving horizontally at 20 m/s, then in 3.35 seconds it gets

(20 m/s) x (3.35 sec) = 67 meters away from the building.

No. The ball would not end up 60 meters away. The ball will end up 65 meters away because of the force thrown with the ball. I believe I'm right.
