Hey!!

A dominant trait means that there is more of something than the other, like say my traits are:

10% mean

60% nice

5% bored

25% hyper

my dominant trait is being nice. Another way to say it is by seeing how much of something is there, like for say fruit:

10 apple trees

20 grape vines

40 rassberry plants

15 pumpkin plants

There are more Rassberry plants than any other plant there soo, the dominant one is rassberrys.

Hope this helps!!

A dominant trait is opposed to a recessive trait which is expressed only when two copies of the gene are present.
