After Muhammad's death Abu Bark was chosen as Caliph and because of him, Central Arabia was unified and was taken under Islamic control which allowed a territorial expansion. And many people tend to think that without Abu Bark's leadership skills Islam's cultural and spiritual traditions wouldn't have survived.
