Ronald Reagan's conservative message made him popular with many Americans. Caused most people to question his leadership skills. Made him unpopular with evangelical Christians. Appealed to only a small group of Republicans.

Ronald Reagan's conservative message made him popular with many Americans.

Reagan eventually became active in politics. The Republican Party was impressed by his political views and strong character, and Reagan, was elected governor of California in 1966 with their support. Reagan was the only California governor to become president of the United States.

Reagan was concerned with the problem of communism in the film industry. His political views changed from liberal to conservative during that period. He toured the country as a television host, and became a spokesman for conservatism and anti-communism.

Well, this is a bit of a loaded question.

A is probably the closest to the right answer.

Reagan's first run did not go so well. But by 1980 with the country in the middle of economic and political turmoil, the Country was very into his conservative message.
