They imposed unfair taxes like the Stamp Act, and did not allow the colonists any representatives in Parliament. Also, they were occupied by British soldiers who they had to feed and share their home with.

Answer:

the Stamp Act,which was passed in 1765 and required the use of special paper containing an tax stamp for all legal documents.

another laws was as the Townsend Acts, passed in 1767 that required the colonists to pay taxes on imported goods like tea.

Step-by-step explanation:

since Britain needed money to pay for its war debts the King and Parliament believed they had the right to tax the colonies. many colonists felt that they should not pay these taxes because they were passed in England by Parliament and no own represented them and hence they protested saying that the taxes violated their rights as British citizens.
