The Cartesian coordinate system can be applied to three-dimensional solids. Instead of two axes, the coordinate system has three, what are they?

Answer:

They are called the x, y, and z axes. The z axis is perpendicular to both the x and y axes. (i.e. perpendicular to the plane created by the x, y axes)
