Answer:

a: f(x) + g(x) = 3x+5 -8x-10 = -5x-5 = -5(x+1)

b: f(x) - g(x) = 3x+5 +8x+10 = 11x + 15

c: f(x) x g(x) = (3x+5) (-8x-10)= -24x^(2) - 30x - 40x - 50 = -24x^(2) - 70x - 50

d. f(x)/g(x) = -3/8 + 5/(4(-8x-10)

(3x+5)/(-8x-10):

numerator: 3x+5

denominator:(-8x-10)

quotient: -3/8

remainder:5/4

e. Determine which of the above are polynomials.

f(x)/g(x)
