Two functions, A and B, are described as follows:

Function A
y = 8x + 3

Function B
The rate of change is 1 and the y-intercept is 4.

How much more is the rate of change of function A than the slope of function B? (5 points)

The rate of change is meaning the slope. The slope of A is 8, therefore, the answer would be 7.
