The Air Dam is found at the lower part of the front bumper while the Radiator is also found in the Engine usually at the Front bumper. the Air Dam allows minimal air to go under the car to help cool the engine as well. The thermostat regulates the flow of coolant between the engine and radiator but if left stuck open or stuck closed will not help the radiator function well because thermostat is meant to open and close at different engine temperatures
