Answer:

When I was younger, I loved Santa. I once tried to write him a letter to thank him for everything he had given me. Like the other answerer, I never caught or heard my parents wrapping gifts or putting them under the tree so I was sold. Sometimes I would pretend to be asleep on Christmas Eve just so I could hear the reindeer hooves on the roof. Of course, I fell asleep. My mom also had this app where she would call Santa on Factime and it was like he was talking to me for real. The cookies were always gone in the morning. Now, I've changed because my dad has explained to me that this isn't true. I didn't believe him at first but then logic came into it. I realized that no one could survive in the North Pole with a thin red coat no matter how much hot chocolate they drank. It was fun believing in him, Mrs.Claus and the elves but I'll always have my nephew to experience Santa for me. I'll also have my baby sister and my future kids so I'll be set.

when I was little I was so convinced that Santa was real that I practically praised him. I never caught my parents out so it didn't even come to mind that they could have been shopping for gifts. Even though all my friends kept telling me he wasn't real I didn't stop fully believing in him till 6th grade. Even though it was very disappointing to know that he wasn't real, it's still great to remember the memories I have of running down the stairs yelling "Santa Claus was hereeeee".
