1. The first polynomial listed is just the number 9.

We can identify two key things here:

There is one term, so it's a monomial.

There are no factor's, so it has a degree of 0, or is constant.

Your answer is correct.


2. In the next polynomial, we can identify the same things:

There are three terms, so it's a trinomial.

The degree of the polynomial is determined by observing the higher power in a given term, in this case, it's three.

The prefix for relating to a multiple of three is cubic, we so know that this is a cubic trinomial.
