Greetings!

Answer:

Slope = 2

Y - Intercept = -3

Explanation:

To find the slope you nee to use the gradient equation which is:

(y2- y1)/(x2 - x1)

Simply find two points which the line passes, such as:

(4 , 3) and (5 , 5)

Plug the values into the equation, making sure that the x2 and y2 values are in the same coordinate set:

(5 - 3)/(5 - 4)

Which is:

(2)/(1)

Or 2, so the slope is 2.

The y-intercept is simply the value where the line passes the y axis, in this case the y intercept is:

-3

Slope = 2

Y - Intercept = -3

Hope this helps!

Answer:

y intercept : -3

slope: ( 8, 5)

Explanation:

so the y intercept is always the number where the line passes through the vertical line which is the Y line in this occasion its -3.

the slope you use rise over run for this type of graph.

just see the pattern on how much you have to rise and how many times you have to run which on this case rise is how many times its going up and run is how many times its going to the left to find where it hit a perfect spot like where the dots are.

im gonna put the answers up there i just wanted to explain to how to do it hope this helps!
