Answer:

Find out the what is the slope of the line that passes through the points (-3, 5) and (1, 7) .

To prove

Formula for slope

m = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1))

The points are (-3, 5) and (1, 7) .

Put in the formula

m = (7 - 5)/(1 - (-3))

m = (2)/(1 + 3)

m = (2)/(4)

Simplify the above

m = (1)/(2)

Option (A) is correct .
