a circle = 360 degrees the triangle takes up half of it and the tip of the triangle lies on 1/4 the triangle which 1/4 or 360 is 90 degrees. each point on a triangle adds up to 180 to so that means that the tip has to = 90 since the other point will = 45 degrees separately and that only leaves 15 for X

6*15= 90
