The correct answer is B.

Remittances are defined as monetary payments which are sent by migrant workers from their host country to their home country. These constitute a speacial source of income for the home country as the payment of a retribution is not requiered in exchange and the action of sending is made unilaterally.

The reception of these payments is registered in the balance of payments of the home country as an increase of its reserves of foreign currencies.
