We already know that the triangles are similar, so all we have to do is divide 12/8, 15/10, and/or 9/6. Then we get the answer 1.5. Although in a real world situation, this is fine. We need the fraction here, so look at the decimal. Notice it is .5 which is half. We also know that the number has a 1, which means one whole. Anyways, the .5 will make it easy to do a fraction with the denominator of 2 since you divide by two to get a half. Now we add our numerator which is 2 (from the 1) and + 1 (from the .5). Look we multiplied by two, two also happens to be our denominator, coincidence? I THINK NOT. Anyways, our final answer is 3/2 which is an enlargement.
