Answer:

Your current selected answer is incorrect.. Your answer should be x = -7

How I received that answer:

** I highly suggest you read this for future tests/assignments! **

1. Replace "x" with each of the numbers one by one, so taking -7 as an example:: (-7- 5)/2 = -6

2. Solve :

-7 - 5 = - 12

-12/2 = -6

Good luck! Hope this helped :)

Answer:

It should be D

Explanation:

(x - 5)/2 = - 6 Multiply both sides by 2

2*(x - 5)/2 = - 6*2 Simplify

x - 5 = - 12 Add 5 to both sides

x - 5+5 = -12 + 5 Combine terms

x = - 7
