we can do that by simply solving for "y"

\bf 100x+50y=200\implies 50y=-100x+200\implies y=\cfrac{-100x+200}{50} \\\\\\ y=-\cfrac{100x}{50}+\cfrac{200}{50}\implies y=-2x+4\impliedby \begin{array}c \cline{1-1} slope-intercept~form\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y=\underset{y-intercept}{\stackrel{slope\qquad }{\stackrel{\downarrow }{m}x+\underset{\uparrow }{b}}} \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}
