The temperature in K is 503.84 K

calculation

The temperature in K is calculated using the ideal gas equation.

That is Pv = nRT

where

p(pressure)= 6.7 atm

V( volume) = 14.2 l

n( number of moles)= 2.3 moles

R( gas constant) = 0.0821 atm.L/K.mol

T( temperature)= ? K

make T the subject of the formula by diving both side of equation by nR

T =PV/nR

T =[(6.7 atm x 14.2 l) / (2.3 moles x0.0821 atm.l/k.mol)] = 503.84 K
