History remembers Alexander as The Great because he was a unique military leader who led his army to conquer a vast territory. At the age of 25, he became king of Persia. In just eight years, Alexander founded 70 cities creating an empire. Not only he was a military genius but a skillful politician who successfully handled the regions he conquered. His influence was so strong that he literally started what it is known as the era of the Hellenistic World.
