The standard form of a line:

Ax+By=C

The point-slope form of a line:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

We have the point (3, 5) and the slope m = 5/3. Substitute:

y-5=(5)/(3)(x-3)

Convert it to the standard form:

y-5=(5)/(3)(x-3) multioly both sides by 3

3y-15=5(x-3) use distributive property

3y-15=5x-15 add 15 to both sides

3y=5x subtract 3y from both sides

5x-3y=0
