First white Sock: 10/18 where 18 is the total number of both colors

Second White Sock: You need to discuss this a bit.

After the first draw, the number of white socks have gone down by 1. The total number of socks has also gone down by 1 no matter what color you draw. So the second draw with be out of 17 socks.

Second white draw: 9/17

Combined probability: 10/18 * 9/17 = 90 / 306 which reduces to 5/17
