Please read the following statement and then formulate two ideas which could decrease the income disparity between men and women in America. In the United States, the median yearly pay for a female who works full-time year-round job is $40,742, while the median annual wage earnings for a man who holds a full- time, year-round job is $51,212. So, overall, women in the United States make 80 cents for every dollar paid to men, which leads to an annual gender wage gap of $10,470. ( **April 2017 NationalPartnership.org/Gap.)

I'm not sure if you're supposed to include anything specific, but here's what I think.

In order to effectively decrease the difference in earnings between men in woman, balancing their pay would be a great solution. Because for every dollar a man makes a woman makes eighty cents, to equalize their pay, instead give each ninety cents each. This does not cause the company to spend more money paying the individuals and it is a fair solution. If the company can spend more money to pay their employees, the woman's income could just be raised to meet with the mans current income, although this would be more costly compared to the first option.
