In the chemistry lab, an experiment requires 500mL of one ingredient to be mixed with 1,000mL of another. How many liters is the solution?

Explanation:

Volume of first ingredient required in an experiment = 500 mL

Volume of second ingredient in an experiment = 1000 mL

Total volume of the solution in an experiment : 500 mL + 1000 mL = 1500 mL

Then 1500 mL =

Hence, the resulting solution is 1.5 Liters.
