Answer:

Explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

Suppose initially there were x Koi in pool.

(2)/(5) of Koi were taken away means, number of fish taken away :
(2)/(5)x

So, remaining Koi will be =
x - (2)/(5)x=(3)/(5)x

There are still b KOi remaining as per question, so

(3)/(5)x=b

So,
x=(5)/(3)b

Means initially there were
(5)/(3)bKoi.

k goldfish were left in pool.

So number of remaining fish were =
(5)/(3)b + k

This is the answer:

Hope it will help :)
