AD, BE and CF are the medians of the triangle. The three medians concur at a point G. G is the centroid of the triangle.

We know from triangle theorem that the centroid divides each median in the ratio 2:1

Here hence CG:GF = 2:1

Or CG+GF:GF = (2+1):1

So CF: GF = 3:1

Or CF = 3 GF

Since GF = 17 is given we get

CF = 3(17) = 51
