During some time thinking about this, I believe I've uncovered the answer, but I'm still a little unsure on myself for it being the correct answer itself.

So, during my lack of thinking it's correct, I thought I would reach out and question people on here to see and review, and involving me figuring out if my answer is correct on the question.

PEMDAS

parenthesis first

5-2 =3

4(3)²-7

now exponents

3^2

= 9

4*9 -7

multiply and divide from left to right

36-7

finally add and subtract
