Answer:

7 + 2n = -11 -Subtract 7 from both sides

7 - 7 + 2n = -11 - 7

2n = -18 -Divide both sides by 2.

2n / 2 = -18 / 2

n = -9

Hope this helps you!

Hello!

Answer:

n=-9

*The answer must have a negative sign.*

Explanation:

First, you subtract by 7 from both sides of an equation.

7+2n-7=-11-7

Then, you simplify.

2n=-18

Next, you divide by 2 from both sides of an equation.

(2n)/(2)=(-18)/(2)

And finally, simplify and solve. You can also dividing into the groups.

18/2=9

n=-9

Hope this helps!

-Charlie
