Hello!

Explanation:

Slope:
(Y^2-Y^1)/(X^2-X^1)=(rise)/(run)

(1-2=-1)/((-4)-3=-7)=(-1)/(-7)=(1)/(7)

Therefore, the slope is 1/7

Answer is 1/7

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{3}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{2})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{-4}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{1}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{1-2}{-4-3}\implies \cfrac{-1}{-7}\implies \cfrac{1}{7}
