Answer:

slope for graph 1 = -3

slope of graph 2 = 3/4

slope of graph 3 = -3

slope of graph 4 = 1/3

Explanation:

Assuming that the graphs have been drawn to scale we can work out the slopes.

For graph 1(on the left)

we pick points (-2,0) and (-1,-3)

slope = ∆y/∆x

= -3-0/-1+2)

= -3/1

= -3

for graph 2 we pick the points (0,2) and (-4,-1)

slope = ∆y/∆x

= -1-2/-4-0

= -3/-4

= 3/4

For graph 3 we pick the points (0,0) and (-1,3)

slope = 3-0/-1-0

= -3

for graph 4 we use the points (-1,1) and (2,2)

Slope = 2-1/2+1

= 1/3

First graph: The slope is -3.
Second graph: The slope is 3/4.
Third graph: The slope is -3.
Fourth graph: The slope is 1/4.

You can find each by finding the rise over run from two points. As an example, if the graph falls 3 units in the amount it takes to go 4 units forward, the slope is -3/4 as the rise is -3 and the run is 4. If the graph falls 1 unit in between points the amount it takes to go 5 units forward, the slope is 1/5. Hope this explanation helps you in your future answers as well!
