Answer: x < -3 or x > 10

|2x-7|>13

2x-7 > 13 or 2x-7 < -13

2x > 13+7 or 2x < -13+7

2x > 20 or 2x < -6

x > 20/2 or x < -6/2

x > 10 or x < -3

x < -3 or x > 10

To graph this on a number line, plot open holes at -3 and 10. Then shade to the left of -3 and to the right of 10. The region between the open holes is not shaded. This is to visually represent being either smaller than -3 or larger than 10 (but not both at the same time).
