Hello there! :)

Answer:

z=3

*The answer must have a positive sign.*

Explanation:

First, switch sides of an equation.

z+12=15

Then, you subtract by 12 from both sides of an equation.

z+12-12=15-12

And finally, simplify and solve. You can also subtract by the numbers.

15-12=3

12+3=15

15-3=12

3+12=15

Answer:
z=3

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

-Charlie

Have a great day!

Isolate x by subtracting 12 on both sides to get x=3. You can plug it in to check. Hopefully I helped. :)
