Let x be the onions

and y be he cucumbers

onions = 7* cucumber

so x=7y

Total vegetables = 56

So x+ y = 56

Now plug in 7y for x

7y + y = 56

8y = 56

y= 7

Now we find out x

x = 7y

Plug in 7 for y

x= 7(7 49

So Penn have 49 onions in his garden
