first find the slope, so subtract the y1 and 2 then same thing with x. -7-1=y. -2-(-3)=x. y is -8 and x is 1. divide -8 and 1. which gives you -8. SLOPE is -8. THE FORMULA for slope intercept form is Mx+B=y first insert the numbers then solve. need any more help use the app socratic and photo math

Slope formula: y2-y1/x2-x1

= 1-(-7)/-3-(-2)

= 8/-1

= -8

Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

m = slope

b = y-intercept

We need to solve for the y-intercept.

y = -8x + b

We can use the point (-2, -7) to solve.

-7 = -8(-2) + b

-7 = 16 + b

-7 - 16 = 16 + b - 16

-23 = b

Now, we can put it in slope-intercept form.

y = -8x - 23

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
