To find the volume of any cylinder, use the formula V = πr²h, which is also given above the figure!

In this formula, r represents radius and h represents height. We are given the height and radius of the cylinder through the given figure. The radius is 4 inches, while the height is 8 inches.

With those values, substitute them into the formula and calculate!

V = π(4 in)²(8 in)

V = π(16 in²)(8 in)

V = 128π in³

In terms of not multiplying π, the volume of the cylinder is 128π in³.

In terms of π = 3.14, the volume of the cylinder is 401.92 in³.
