15 points. Hi everyody. I don't really want to cheat and this is not really a question. Can someone explain what this means? y= 4x. That's just an example. The subject I am on is graphs and variables and stuff. An example is "I could do 5 pushups in one hour" Don't decode it or anything I just need to know what y=4x. If this is super unclear please tell me.

Answer:

To solve for y you need to take your x term(s) and multiply them by 4.

Explanation:

so say your x terms are 1, 2, and 3.

y= 4×(1) so y= 4

y= 4×(2) so y= 8

y= 4×(3) so y= 12

I hope this helps a bit.
