What do we take forward and how do we as a country finally put the civil war behind us and unite as one people, or is that too high of an ideal to become reality ?

we had never put the civil war behind us. A lot of people still believe "white" people are superior than other races. We would like to believe that we are all equal but in reality it's too high of an ideal
