In both plays, Macbeth from Shakespeare and from Oregon Welles, we can identify the figure of a Tragic Hero. According to Aristotle the tragic hero is usually defined as a person who makes the audience feel a sense of pity or fear. Another exaple of a tragic hero could be Prince Hamlet in the play from Shakespeare.
