Out of 20 kids in a​​ 4th grade class, 1 4 are girls.

- How many girls are in this class?
- How many boys are there?
- What part of all students are boys?

Answer:

-5 girls

-15 boys


(15</p><p>)/(20)

Explanation:

for girls it's 1/4=5/20 so 4x5=20 and 1x5=5

for boys you would subtract the total number, 20, by the number of girls there,(20-5) leaving us with
(15)/(20)

Then for third question, it's
(15)/(20)

Part 1

1/4 of 20 = 20 × 1/4 = 20/4 = 5
There are 5 girls

Part 2

20 - 5 = 15
There are 15 boys

Part 3

15/20 = 3/4
3/4 of 20 are boys
